Northborough – Shoppers at the Northborough Crossing will now have a few more dining options at the plaza, thanks to the Board of Selectmen approving various licenses at its Sept. 26 meeting.
A Common Victualler License was granted to Patrick Guay, who will open Mooyah, at 10010A Shops Way. The restaurant, Guay told the board, will be a “better burger-type model” that will serve a healthier version of traditional fast foods. The Northborough store will be the first franchise in Massachusetts.
David Sbordon, Jr. was granted a Common Victualler License to open a gourmet sandwich shop, Jimmy John’s, 10010B Shops Way.
Andrew Cadette was also granted a Common Victualler License for to open a Dunkin Donuts store inside BJ’s Wholesale Club.
Town Administrator John Coderre reminded the board that there are a total of five All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant Licenses available for establishments at Northborough Crossing. Three have been issued thus far – Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Tio Juan’s Mexican Margaritas Restaurant and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar.
In other business the board approved an application for a new Wine & Malt Beverages
Package Store License for Kilti, Inc. d/b/a Paired, Poured & Plated, for a shop to be located at 290 West Main St., Suite 8. The new store will feature artisanal wines, cheese and charcuteries.
The board also approved the application to transfer the All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant License from Sarro Entities LLC d/b/a JJ’s Sports Bar & Grill to Grace Partners LLC d/b/a JJ’s Sports Bar & Grill, 380 Southwest Cutoff.
