Shrewbury – The Shrewsbury High School Colonials boys’ soccer team defeated the visiting Algonquin Regional High School Tomahawks by a score of 2-0 in a game played Sept. 27. The matchup featured two of the top teams in Central Massachusetts teams, both previously undefeated.
The teams battled through a scoreless first half, before Shrewsbury’s Kameron Kristen found the net four minutes into the second half. Less than three minutes later, Zak Kahn scored the second Shrewsbury goal, sealing the victory.
