Westborough – Market Watch has announced that Ryan Maloney, the owner of Julio’s Liquors, has been named as the recipient of the Leaders Alumni Award for Best Marketing. This prestigious award recognizes the excellent work Maloney has done in marketing and promotions.

In order to qualify for this award, a retailer has to be a Market Watch Leader, an honor enjoyed by 200 of the most elite retailers nationally each year. Inducted in 2012, Maloney has put an extra focus on marketing in order to grow his business.

“We realize that marketing initiatives are an investment which require hard work and patience,” Maloney said. “That investment has paid off as this award is the most recent signal of Julio’s success. “

Often viewed as one of New England’s most progressive retailers, Julio’s Liquors is filled with exotic selections. Using his creative marketing initiatives, Maloney is considered a retailing visionary. Maloney consistently hosts in-store events, and holds a major annual whisk(e)y festival which attracts whisk(e)y lovers from around the nation. He also authors a column in a regional magazine and is the co-host of “It’s the Liquor Talking,” a local radio show. He has also leveraged his website, blog, mobile app, podcasts and social media platforms to build brand and product awareness.

Julio’s Liquors is renowned for their exclusive product, diverse selection, and rare choices. This has made Julio’s a must visit for both enthusiastic and casual drinkers. Maloney also attributes the success of Julio’s to the many strong business partnerships he has built over the years.

“It’s important to surround yourself with good people and with good business partners,” noted Maloney. One of those partnerships is with Vision Advertising who has managed his website, blog, and much of his social media for the past few years.

Julio’s Liquors is located at 140 Turnpike Road, Westborough. For more information visit Julio’s Liquors at www.juliosliquors.com or call 508-366- 1942.
