Shrewsbury – St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 34 Gold St., is hosting a Thanksgiving bake sale, luncheon and holiday marketplace Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be many vendors offering gifts, jewelry, crafts, specialty apparel and items from Alpaca-Llips Farm.
A variety of traditional pies, breads, cakes, and other assorted fresh baked goods will be offered for sale. Also, specialty Mediterranean ethnic offerings from St. Nicholas’ Kitchen, such as Baklava and seasonally decorated Hostess Platters with an assortment of ethnic pastries, will be available. Take a break from all your holiday preparations to enjoy a luncheon of freshly made spinach or leek pita and hot home-made soup.
