Region – The Stop & Shop “Turkey Express” truck pulled up to the Worcester County Food Bank (WCFB) in Shrewsbury Nov. 4. to deliver 1,000 turkeys.
This holiday season, the WCFB will donate 3,000 turkeys as well as 668 gift cards for turkeys to families in need.
According to Stop & Shop officials, the delivery is part of their initiative to donate 300,000 holiday meals this season to local organizations.
