Hudson – Charles Morreale Jr., 87, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at Marlborough Hills after an illness.
He was born in Waltham, the son of Charles Morreale Sr. and Ada (Ferranti) Morreale, and had lived in Weston before moving to Hudson in 1960.
He leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth E. (Brigham) Morreale; his two daughters, Linda R. Martin and her husband, David of Clinton and Kathryn A. LaPrade of Marlborough; his two sons, Charles Morreale III of Colorado and Michael M. Morreale and his wife Maggie of Hudson; his brother, Frederick Morreale of Maynard; three sisters, Charlotte Sasser of Mississippi, Ada Bryden of Marlborough and Dorothy Hederick of Hudson; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was an Army veteran of World War II.
He owned and operated C’More Appliance in Hudson for many years before retiring.
Charles was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Hudson, was a life member of the Marlborough Moose Lodge 1129, and a member of the former Marlborough VFW. He enjoyed tinkering, fishing, and traveling with his wife, Ruth.
Calling hours for will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 4-6 p.m., in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.
