Marlborough – Louis J. Scerra, 58, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016.
He was born in Marlborough, the son of Mary L. (Spencer) Scerra of Marlborough and the late Louis J. Scerra Sr., and lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Marlborough High School, class of 1976, and a graduate of Harvard Law School, class of 1982.
He worked as an attorney for Greenberg Traurig LLC in Boston for many years before having to retire due to health issues.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, David Scerra of Marlborough, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Marlborough. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 5-8 p.m., at the William R. Short and Son Funeral (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough.
