Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Historical Society, 17 Church Road, presents “Even a Small House is a Big Project” by Master Carpenter Tom Kelleher Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m.

Although early American families were generally much larger than households are today, their homes were usually much smaller. Most of these early “tiny houses,” no longer survive. For Old Sturbridge Village, recreating an authentic late-18th-century house in the 21st century proved to be a big challenge. Learn how the newest old house at Old Sturbridge Village was built.

Free and open to the public, with refreshments served. For more information, call Erik at 774-230-5826.
