Marlborough – Anna Angeline (Cicolini) Risotti, 89, died Thursday morning, Dec. 22, 2016 after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Albert N. Risotti, to whom she was married for 59 years.

She was born in Southborough, the daughter of the late Andrew and Augusta (Pedanotti) Cicolini and lived in Marlborough for 68 years.

She was a devoted member of the former Saint Ann’s Church where she was active in the Holy Rosary Sodality and was currently a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Mrs. Risotti was an outstanding cook and enjoyed doing so for her many family and friends.  The greatest joy in her life though was spending time in company of her family, immediate and extended.  Her family truly was the center of her life.

She is survived by four sons, James A. Risotti and his wife Deborah of North Reading, Albert N. Risotti and his wife Marjorie of Marlborough, Stephen A. Risotti and his wife Shawna of Marlborough, and Paul A. Risotti and his wife Amy of Baldwinville; two daughters, Kathleen A. Tate and her husband William of Marlborough and Maryellen Butt and her husband Gregory of Marlborough; one sister, Alice Benedetto of Marlborough; 17 grandchildren, Alison, Zachary and Marcus Tate, Daniel, Alaina, Gina, Lisa, Anna, Matthew, Anthony, Andrew, Angela and Lauren Risotti, Lindsay, Alissa and Garrett Butt, nine great grandchildren; Violet, Grady, Noah, Colin, Vincent, Mila, Hoyt, Olivia, Beckham; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Sarah Risotti, who died in 2006, and two brothers, Andrew and Edward Cicolini.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 11:00 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 5-8 p.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Michael  Lisnow Respite Center, 112 Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748.
