Westborough – For the third consecutive year, PENTA Communications, Inc., an integrated marketing firm located at 208 Turnpike Road in Westborough, was one of the most successful drop-off locations in Central Massachusetts for the Toys for Tots organization, raising over 300 toys for local children in need.
The marketing firm encouraged community members to drop off contributions of new, unwrapped toys in the spirit of helping children enjoy a brighter holiday.
“We are grateful to the many people and businesses who shared such a warm and giving spirit this holiday season by donating toys to our drive,” said Deborah Penta, CEO of PENTA Communications, Inc. “We continued to see the magic of the season surprise and delight all of us during this year’s drive, and fondly recall a visit from Robert Evans of Worcester who generously delivered 125 incredible model cars and trucks.”
“Special moments like this truly illuminated the giving spirit of the season,” she added.
Toys for Tots was founded in 1947 by Reservist Major Bill Hendricks. Today, more than six decades later and under the leadership of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, the initiative continues to uphold its mission to help less fortunate families throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas, instill hope in children, and encourage them to become responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens. Last year, the charity collected and circulated 18 million toys to 7 million less fortunate children nationwide.
“Through outstanding initiatives like the Toys for Tots program and the generosity of others, we can spread a bit of holiday magic throughout our community,” Penta said.
“For the past three years, PENTA has been a valuable drop-off location for Toys for Tots. We depend on our business partners to promote their sites as drop-off locations, and encourage the community to donate new, unwrapped toys to children in need. Each year, PENTA exceeds their donations from the year prior, and this makes a big difference in the lives of the families and children we help. We appreciate their ongoing dedication to our program, and we look forward to working with them in the years to come,” said Worcester County Toys for Tots Coordinator Staff Sergeant Danny Jaimes.
The marketing firm utilized its award-winning creative services and social media platform services to promote the drive. Signage installed in front of the PENTA building depicted a thermometer to track PENTA’s progress, and was updated by its team as donations were received.
For nearly 30 years, PENTA Communications, Inc. has been a devoted supporter and advocate of charitable programs benefiting children and those less fortunate in our community. For more information visit pentamarketing.com.
