Marlborough – Police Chief Mark Leonard released this statement this afternoon:
On January 1, 2017 at approximately 7:30pm the Marlborough Police Department responded to a residence regarding a past home invasion. It was reported by the residents that after opening the door for a known acquaintance, 4-5 unknown males entered the residence and began demanding property from the occupants. All males except one individual, identified as Jonathan Pinho, were masked and have yet to be identified. However it was reported by the victims that several of the assailants brandished weapons including a handgun. The suspects were only in the residence for a short amount of time, stole a small amount of property from the victims and fled the area in a white sedan. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
At this time, the Marlborough Police Department is actively seeking to locate Jonathan Pinho for his involvement in this incident as well as to identify the remaining participants. Due to the seriousness of the incident and possible presence of weapons, the department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating these individuals. Any persons with information may contact the Marlborough Police Department Investigations Unit, specifically Det. Brian Cox, at (508)485-1212. All callers may remain anonymous and any assistance is greatly appreciated.
