Westborough – Due to the snowstorm, the Wine and Cheese Kickoff Celebration for Westborough’s 300th anniversary has been postponed to Sunday, Jan. 8. It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at The 1717 Shoppe in the Westborough Shopping Center, 18 Lyman St. Highlights of the event will include a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. with local and state officials, a cake cutting at 5:30 p.m., music by Westborough musicians, and art displays.
Tickets are $25 per person and include a choice of either a complimentary glass of wine, a tasting of Westborough’s grower champagne “Cuvee 1717,” beer, soda, or water – as well as delicious appetizers.
