Marlborough – Theresa A. Anderson, 52, of Marlborough and formerly of Watertown, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at her home.

She was born, raised, and educated in Boston, the daughter of the late William and Madeline T. (Peluso) Anderson and moved to Marlborough in 2001.

She was a school bus driver for JSC Transportation for nine years.

Theresa enjoyed walks along the beach collecting sea shells, word games, and crosswords, as well as the occasional trip to Foxwoods to play slots. She will be remembered for doing things her way.

She leaves two sons, William Rose of Lowell and Michael Rose of Billerica; loving daughter Kim Driscoll of Marlborough; everlasting friend Maurice Horton of Upton; a brother, Charles Anderson of Florida; four sisters, Patricia Layden of Salem, N.H., Helen O’Neil of Foxborough, Tina Anderson of Marlborough, and Rita Gauthier of Mashpee; five grandchildren, Cassidy and Rybeca Driscoll of Marlborough and Ashley, Jason and Sophia Rose of Billerica; and many nephews and nieces. She was the grandmother of Elyse Valiente of Marlborough, who died February 3, 2014. She was the sister of the late William Anderson of Vermont.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Feb. 3, from 6-8 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will be private.
