Blanche L. Ragaini, 96, of GraftonGrafton – Blanche L. (Benoit) Ragaini, 96, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville. Her husband, Frank Ragaini, passed away in 2012.

Blanche is survived by her two sons, Bradley Ragaini and his wife Margaret and Michael Ragaini and his wife Linda; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Arthur, Lawrence, Roland, Rodger, and Robert Benoit, and sisters, Irene Hall, Emma Johnson, and Jeanette Gjeltima.

Blanche was born Aug. 17, 1920 in Sutton, daughter of the late Arthur F. and Yvonne (Montegrain) Benoit. She lived in Grafton all her life.

She worked as a machine operator at Tupper Plastics in South Grafton and at Buck Brothers Company in Millbury.

She was a devoted member of St. James Church in South Grafton; a member of the Green Acres Tenant Association, the Grafton Senior Citizens, and Sutton Golden Age Club; and was a board member of the Grafton Council on Aging for many years. She and her husband Frank were the original tenants at the Green Acres Estates in South Grafton.

Blanche’s family would like to thank the caring staff of Minion Way at St. Camillus Health Center for the compassionate care they gave to her.

Her funeral Mass was held Jan. 31 at St. James Church and she was then laid to rest with her husband Frank at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
