Westborough – Priscilla A. “Penny” (Meade) Flot, 86, of Westborough and formerly a longtime resident of Southborough, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester after an illness. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of the late Roland P. Flot, who passed away last July.

Penny met her husband while working for Raytheon and after they married they moved to Southborough and raise their children. She worked for many years at the Yankee Gift Shop in Marlborough.

She loved being a homemaker as she was very caring and always put others before herself.

Penny enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adeline Singers and volunteering for St Matthew Church of Southborough, where she was a member. She recently moved to the Highlands in Westborough and met many new friends and had a wonderful time participating in their many activities.

Penny’s joyous and fun loving personality took her through the good and bad times of life and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Rosalie of South Carolina; Robert and his wife Debra of Massachusetts; Linda Krakowski and her husband Ben and Jennifer Surabian and her husband Edwin, all of Arizona; and Stephanie Doyle and her husband Stewart of Massachusetts. She also leaves a brother, Warren Meade of Massachusetts; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, Feb. 10, from 9-11 a.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A funeral home service will follow at 11:15 a.m.
