Westborough – In preparation for the 300th Anniversary Gatsby-style Celebration Gala to be held Oct. 7, the Westborough 300th Committee has announced that swing dance lessons will be offered to the public! Lessons are open to singles and couples.
Multiple sessions will be offered. Classes will be held Wednesdays at the Mill Pond School, 6 Olde Hickory Path. Sign-up can be done through Westborough Recreation at www.westbororec.com. Dates are: session 1 (seven classes): March 1, 15, 22, 29 and April 5, 12, and 26, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.; session 2 (five classes): May 10, 17, 24, 31 and June 7, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.; and session 3 (five classes): Aug. 30, Sept. 13, 20, 27, and Oct. 4, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
