Framingham – Rose (Hanley) Clementi, 95, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at the Blair House in Milford. She was the wife of 54 years to the late Louis Clementi, who died in July 2000.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret  (Canavan) Hanley. She was a graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1939.

Mrs. Clementi was a former member of the Framingham Catholic Women’s Club and a longtime member of their bowling team. She loved to bake and sew, enjoyed reading, and was a devoted grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Mark Clementi and his wife Joan of Northborough; her son-in-law, John Arena of Delaware; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Clementi, Margaret Foraker, Christopher, Thomas, Jonathan and Frank Arena; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Hanley, of Arkansas. She was the mother of the late Deborah Arena, who died in 2014, and sister of the late Kathleen Hopper, Mary Vermette, John, William, Richard and James Hanley, Rita Drapeau, and Margaret Hanley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation Monday, Feb. 27, from 9-9:30 a.m., at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Avenue), Framingham, followed by her funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St., Framingham. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery of Framingham.
