What are your earliest field hockey related memories?
“My earliest field hockey memory was the summer before going into freshman year of high school. I actually didn’t know how to play so I went to a camp to learn the basics to start me off before the season started.”
What was it like first trying out for the varsity team?
“Because of the no-cut policy, I ended up on JV, but learning to play with the other players at the beginning was amazing.”
What has it been like playing for Coach Stuart for four years?
“Playing for her was definitely a great experience, and always a great workout. She always pushed us to work harder and play better, and it was a great experience. By the time this, my senior year, came, I’ve become the best player I could possibly be in field hockey.”
What was the single most-special game during your time at Assabet?
“The most special game that I was a part of was during this season. There was one game that we had played Hudson and I ended up scoring a hat trick. My mom had ended up making it in time to see the third and final goal I scored for it.”
What are your hobbies outside of field hockey?
“My favorite hobby outside of field hockey is probably hanging out with my friends. We’re all busy with school and work, so whenever we get the chance to hang out, we take full advantage of it. My other big hobby is that I love to read, so I’m usually always reading a book.”
What is your favorite class in school, and why?
“English by far is my favorite class because my current teacher makes it fun and makes it easy to grasp the concept of what we’re learning. Plus I love reading.”
What is your favorite professional sport to watch?
“I like watching football, especially the Patriots. My family always watches the Patriots games, so I sit with them and watch whenever I can.”
What is your favorite type of music?
“My favorite music is probably rock. It helps calm me down for some strange reason, and it makes for a great workout or running playlist. I really like Led Zeppelin because they have a bunch of great songs.”
What kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind at Assabet?
“I hope I leave behind the memory that I never gave up and always tried my hardest with everything that I did in field hockey. I want the underclassmen on the field hockey team to remember how dedicated I was, and hopefully that they’ll follow in my footsteps.”
