Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning:
On 3/3/17, at approximately 10:02 AM, the Westborough Police Dept. received a call reporting a break into a residence at 103 Fisher St. The reporting party reported that the suspect entered the residence and stole the keys to the owners 2011 Chev. Equinox. The suspect then left the residence and headed west on Fisher St. which is a dead end street. The vehicle turned around and almost struck the vehicle’s owner who was on the side of the roadway.
Westborough Officer Terry Peters was responding to the residence and located the vehicle pulled to the side of Fisher St. approximately ¼ mile away with the suspect still in the vehicle. She was able to remove the suspect from the vehicle and take her into custody.
She was identified as Michelle J. Hollis, age 49 of 50 Franklin St. Worcester. She was booked at the Westborough Police Department and charged with Breaking and Entering daytime with intent to commit a felony (larceny) and larceny of a motor vehicle. She will be arraigned in WDC today.
