Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury High School (SHS) boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams will be hosting the annual ALS Awareness Game Thursday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m., in the Shrewsbury High School gymnasium, 64 Holden St.

This game will be between the two varsity teams and some members of the SHS faculty. The game is being held to raise money and awareness for ALS, with all proceeds donated to the ALS Family Charitable Foundation. Admission will be $3 for students and $5 for adults. With admission you will receive one raffle ticket; additional raffle tickets will be sold for $1, or 7 for $5. Prizes include gift certificates, clothes from the Colonial store, and other donations from local businesses.

The game is once again being organized by senior Connor McAulay and Andrew Moran, a mathematics teacher at the school.
