Marlborough – John E. Wright Jr., 59, of Marlborough, died at home Saturday, Feb. 26, 2017.
He was born in Boston, the son of John E. and Ellen M. (Barnett) Wright, and was raised in Vermont, graduating from Peacham High School in 1975. John was a U.S. Army veteran.
He worked at Walmart in the Stock Department for 18 years. He was an avid New England Patriots fan.
He leaves two sons, Christopher P. Wright and Timothy J. Wright, both of Marlborough; a daughter, Amanda N. Wright of Marlborough; many brothers and sisters; and his longtime companion, Beth Robbins, with whom he lived.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, March 16, at 11 a.m., at Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
