Gilbert E. Randall, 85, of Hudson and MarlboroughHudson/Marlborough – Gilbert E. Randall, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 19, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Cambridge, the son of Charles and Lillian (Milliken) Randall, and had lived in Hudson for 24 years before moving to Marlborough in 1988.

His loving wife, Doris M. (Leger) Randall, passed away in 1992. He leaves three daughters, Christine Murphy and her husband Jay of Hudson, Sherril Morse of Sarasota, Fla., and Kelly Swanfeldt and her husband, Richard of Marlborough; five grandchildren, Lori Jackson, Jamie Holmes, Jason Murphy, Michael Flood, and David Flood; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his great-grandson, Matthew Holmes.

After graduating from high school, Gilbert served his country and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and served aboard the USS Philippines Sea.

He worked at Raytheon for 35 years, most recently as a Government Property Manager. He was a member the Amvets Post 1980 in Marlborough and enjoyed golfing, bowling and hunting.

Calling hours will be held Friday, March 24, from 4-7 p.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Funeral services for Gilbert will be held Saturday, March 25, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
