Northborough – Northborough Girl Scouts earned $15,561 for their troops in the 2017 cookie sale.  These monies will be used for a variety of service projects and fun activities and trips. Additionally, over $57,000 was earned to support the Girl Scouts of central and western Massachusetts Council programs, staff and camps. All told, 192 girls participated in the Northborough sale, selling 20,512 boxes of cookies.

Sixteen girls achieved “Super Seller” status, defined as selling 250 or more boxes of cookies. The top sales place for Northborough went to St. Bernadette’s sixth-grader Morgan Schultz, who sold 1,100 boxes. Four girls in town, third-graders Stephanie Bernzweig, Julia Landgren and Ammi Hartley, and fifth-grader Danika McLaughlin each sold over 500 boxes. These large sales numbers were achieved with the help of several businesses in town. The businesses allowed girls to set up cookie booths at their establishments.

Northborough Girl Scouts are extremely appreciative of the local businesses, Great American Cleaners, Lil’ M Market, Lowes Variety, NextStage Associates, Northborough House of Pizza, St. Mary’s Credit Union, Paint Your Own Pottery, Rocky’s Ace Hardware, Teamworks and Walmart.
