Westborough – The town of Westborough and the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission will hold an informative “walk and talk” about the proposed multi-use Boston-Worcester Air Line Trail (BWALT) on Thursday, April 20. The “walk and talk” will feature participation by a number of well-qualified multi-use trail experts, town planners and economic development representatives from communities both outside the region and from Framingham to Worcester, where the trail is planned to run.

The event will convene at Penta Communications, 208 Turnpike Rd. (Rt. 9), Westborough, with a networking session at 9:30 a.m., a trail talk at 10 a.m., and a problem-solving talk and walk along the old rail right of way immediately following the talk. Walking shoes are highly recommended. There will be a shuttle for both a shorter walk of roughly 1.5 miles and a longer walk of 3 miles along the right-of-way.  For more information, contact Bruce Tretter at [email protected].
