Ann M. Wasiuk, 76, of GraftonGrafton – Ann M. (Kubiak) Wasiuk, of Grafton, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at home Saturday morning, April 15, 2017.

Ann will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, Walter Wasiuk Jr., and her children, Joanne Wasiuk-Lussier and her husband Steven, Walter Wasiuk Jr., Michael Wasiuk and his wife Jane, and Gary Wasiuk. Her son, Stephen Wasiuk, predeceased her in 2002. She also leaves her grandchildren, Keith Wasiuk, Amanda Lussier, Daniel Lussier, Riley Wasiuk, and Evan Wasiuk; her sister, Carol Beland and her husband Richard; sister-in-law, Janine Trainor and her husband Edward; brother-in-law, Joseph Wasiuk and his wife Kathleen; and three nieces and two nephews. Her brother, Joseph Kubiak, also predeceased her.

Ann was born Aug. 23, 1940 in Worcester, daughter of the late Grace (Mesale) and Joseph Kubiak. She grew up in the Grafton Hill neighborhood in Worcester before her family moved to Grafton, where she graduated from Grafton High School.

Ann’s life was centered around her family, which brought her great joy. She enjoyed going out to dinner with her husband, lunch and movies with friends, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, and holidays with family. For several years, she spent time in Miami and Hollywood, Fla. with her husband, and enjoyed time with her family in the summer at the family’s cottage in West Dennis.

All are welcome to gather with Ann’s family Thursday, April 20, from 5-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Ann Friday, April 21, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton. She will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Whitinsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s honor supporting the ministry work in Haiti of Fr. John Henault, 29 Blackstone St., Sutton, MA 01590.
