Hudson – Antonio R. Cardoso, 79, of Hudson, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Inez Cardoso.
Antonio was the son of the late Albino Cardoso and Ana Cardoso Rua. He lived most of his life in Hudson and worked for many years at the Jacobs-Buteau Mobile Home Park of Hudson until his retirement.
Antonio enjoyed volunteering his time in the community doing Bible educational work. He also enjoyed gardening and was a past member of the Hudson Portuguese Club and was involved with the soccer team in his early years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Albina and her husband Licinio of Portugal and his stepdaughter Elizabeth and her husband Jay Dossantos of South Carolina; his three grandchildren, Ines Maia of Portugal and Savannah and Bryan of South Carolina; his sister, Joaquina Pinto; his three brothers, Jose Cardoso and his wife Irene, Albertino Cardoso and his wife Patty of New Albany, Ind. and Jose Pinto of Port St. Lucie, Fla., as well as his sister-in-law, Alexdrina Cardoso. He was predeceased by his brother, Domingos Cardoso, and brother-in-law, Antonio Pinto.
Calling hours will be held Friday, May 5, from 5-8 p.m., in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Funeral services for Antonio will be held from the funeral home Saturday, May 6, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery.
