Hudson – Jeannette E. (DeVarenne) Milliken, 79, of Hudson, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was born May 8, 1937 in Waltham, the daughter of the late Stanley and Emma (Cormier) DeVarenne. She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Milliken.
She leaves four children Robert A. Jr. and his wife Laura (Hoots) of Hampton, N.H.; Michael Milliken and his wife Marybeth (Igoe) of Marlborough; Debbie Milliken of Hudson; and Mark Milliken and his wife Cathleen (Lenihan) of Worcester. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Kendra, Sara, Sean, Chad, Ryan, Alysha, Ashley and Robert III, and one great-grandson, Jacob. She leaves her sister, Diane Melanson of Sudbury, and her brother, Stan DeVarenne of Mississippi, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Parish in Hudson. She worked for several years as a cashier at the local Purity Supreme Supermarket.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 4, from 4-8 p.m., in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Funeral services for Jeannette will be held from the funeral home Friday, May 5, at 9 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
