Southborough – Voters in the May 9 Annual Town Election have chosen incumbent Daniel Kolenda (772 votes) and Lisa Braccio (881 votes) for the two open spots on the Southborough Board of Selectmen. The two defeated Sam Stivers (662 votes), John Wood (592 votes) and David Parry (252 votes).
Incumbent Town Clerk James Hegarty defeated William Boland, 1,270-412, for the position of Town Clerk.
The voters also approved the Proposition 2-1/2 request to fund the public safety complex, 1,085-493.
According to unofficial results, 1,727 voters (23.4 percent) participated in the election.
