Marlborough – UMass Memorial – Marlborough Hospital’s 19th annual Safe Summer Fun Day will be held Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free, child-oriented health and safety event will take place on the front lawn of Marlborough Hospital, 157 Union St., Marlborough.
Once again, several hundred free bike helmets will be fitted and given away by trained Marlborough Hospital caregivers. The event also features many hands-on hospital exhibits and educational booths created and supported by hospital staff, board trustees and members of hospital-affiliated councils.
Community partners also participate in the event to create opportunities for local residents to explore emergency vehicles, learn new ways to stay healthy, promote summer safety for kids and their families, and to get to know their neighbors.
If your local organization would like to host a healthcare-focused educational booth at Safe Summer Fun Day or if you would like to volunteer, contact Ellen Carlucci at 508-486-5807 or [email protected].
