Northborough – Jane (Pettee) Hasson, 68, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, July 2, 2017.
She leaves her devoted husband of 45 years, John Hasson; her three loving children, Derek Hasson and wife Meghan of Tomball, Texas, Rachael Buckley and husband Bill of Fairfax, Va., and Meredith Benson and husband David of West Springfield, Va.; her father, James Pettee of Hingham; six grandchildren; her siblings, David Pettee of Arlington, Jon Pettee of Dallas, Texas, Marguerite Lee of Bristol, Tenn., and Catherine McArdle of Washington, D.C.; and six nieces and nephews.
Born in Waterville, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Tetlow) Pettee. Jane lived in Maryland, New York, and Massachusetts while growing up, and graduated from Winchester High School. She went on to graduate from Boston University, where she met her husband John.
Jane enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and knitting, and had a passion for cooking. She enjoyed spending time in the Newport, R.I. area and on Cape Cod with her family. Family was everything to Jane and she loved watching her children grow and have children of their own. Her grandchildren John, Brady, Jay, Ethan, Reagan and Jane were her greatest joy.
Private funeral services will take place at Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne.
