Jane E. Cromarty, 71, of MarlboroughMarlborough – Jane E. (Randall) Cromarty, of Marlborough, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017 following a long battle with gastrointestinal disease.

Born May 21, 1946 in the Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Dorothea (Findlay) Randall.

Jane was the wife of Bruce Cromarty of Marlborough, whom she married in December 1965. They had been residents of Marlborough, living on Fort Meadow Reservoir, for the past 51 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Harris of Colorado, and two grandsons, David Harris and Andrew Harris and his wife Amberlyn, and her great-granddaughter Adelyn Harris; her son, David Cromarty and his wife Vickie and granddaughter Lauren of Colorado, as well as her brother, Don Randall of Brunswick Ga.

Jane graduated from Trenton State College, in New Jersey, and spent her vocational life with Verizon Telecommunications.

She loved her home on Diamond Pond in Stewartstown, N,H., and spent many happy times fishing on Big Diamond Pond, which she thought to be her favorite place. She also enjoyed snowmobiling throughout the Northeast and Canada.

A service will be held for friends and family Saturday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.
