Marlborough – Delores P. (Naples) Urato, 82, of Marlborough, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at the Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation. She was the wife of the late James V. Urato.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Valarie (Marmat) Naples.

Prior to her retirement, Delores was employed as an administrative secretary for Digital and previously for Health and Human Services in Wayland. She was also a communicant of the former St. Ann’s Parish.

Delores is survived by one son, Chuck Taylor and his wife Sheila of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine; one grandson, Zachary Taylor; and a niece, Linda LeFage. She was predeceased by her son, Shawn Taylor, and former husband, Robert Taylor.

A graveside committal will take place Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10:30 a.m., in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 West Main St., Marlborough.
