Westborough – David Kaprelian, 81, of Westborough, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. He was the beloved husband of Judith F. (Foster) Kaprelian.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Karekin and Lucy (Santoian) Kaprelian. He was a life-long resident of Westborough and was a 1954 graduate of Westborough High School.

David worked hauling gas and oil for Alger and Smith Transport and Sterling Transport. In later years, he was employed as a truck driver for Cappello Heavy Transport in Shrewsbury and was a former member of Local 170.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Vaughn Kaprelian of Westborough; three nieces; two goddaughters; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was the brother of the late Virginia “Ginny” Lindsay.

His funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m., in The Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 4-7 p.m.
