Southborough – Police Chief Kenneth M. Paulhus released this statement today:
In early September of 2017, Southborough Police Officers responded to two past Breaking and Entering calls on Flagg Road, and one on General Henry Knox Road. After examining the events and circumstances of all three incidents, Lieutenant Sean James was able to develop a suspect based on his past dealings with an individual who committed similar crimes in Southborough in 2010.
Lt. James arranged for the formation of a B&E Task Force to track the suspect from his home in Leominster, MA. As a result of the investigation, Detective Keith Nichols of Southborough, and Sergeant Matt Reardon of Medway, were able link David Paul King (age 41) to an active break in Littleton, MA. A subsequent search of King’s apartment in Leominster yielded evidence of all three breaks that occurred in Southborough.
During further investigation, King was also charged with similar crimes in numerous other Central Massachusetts Communities. He is currently being held at the Middlesex House of Correction. King will be arraigned on Southborough warrants on a future date in Westborough District Court.
Charges include: (3) Counts of B&E into a Building (3) Larceny of Property Over $250.00, (1) Count of Destruction of Property over $250.00.
