NorthboroughAll are welcome to join the Northborough Interfaith Clergy Association’s (NICA) annual Thanksgiving Service Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 7-8 p.m. This year’s interfaith service will be held at First Parish Church, 40 Church Street, Northborough.  Rev. Lynda Sutherland, pastor at First Parish, will preach at the service.

Ministers and musicians from all NICA congregations will lead the service.  NICA is composed of eight local congregations:  St. Rose of Lima, St. Bernadette, Nativity, First Parish, Trinity, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, The Seventh Day Adventist, and B’Nai Shalom.  The clergy members gather regularly for prayer, fellowship, discussion of issues affecting the town, and support a voucher fund for the poor, the Northborough Community Meals program, and other assistance programs.

This year’s interfaith service will include song, prayer, brief homily, a free-will offering for the Worcester Pastoral Counseling Centers assistance fund, and be followed by hospitality.    Attendees are asked to bring a bag non-perishable food items for the Northborough Food Pantry.
