St. John’s defeats Shrewsbury to win Division 3 football championship
St. John Pioneers take the field to celebrate their win.

Shrewsbury – St. John’s took the title of Central Mass Division 3 High School Football Champions Nov. 11. The undefeated St. John Pioneers defeated the #2 seed Shrewsbury Colonials 36-14 at Doyle Field in Leominster. At the end of the first quarter, the score was tied 8-8, but the Pioneers gained momentum and never looked back.
