Shrewsbury – Joyce M. (Grampetro) Forrester, 74, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas J. Carenzo Jr. of Worcester, James A. Carenzo and his wife Darlene of Grafton, Susan B. Friedlander of Boston, Anthony D. Carenzo of Worcester, Michael J. Carenzo of Worcester, and Christina A. Guittar and her husband James of Holden. She also leaves five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her sister, Barbara Hulley. She was predeceased by her parents, Hazel M. (Bullens) and Alfred D. Grampetro Sr., and brother Alfred D. Grampetro Jr.
Joyce was a loving mother to her children and an amazing, kind grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She retired from Astra Pharmaceuticals.
Joyce grew up in Grafton, attended Grafton High School, and lived there most of her life before moving to Shrewsbury.
Funeral services and burial will be private at her family’s request.
