Louise HalliseyFramingham – Louise (Colman) Hallisey, 81, of Framingham, died peacefully at the Glenaire Retirement Community in Cary, N.C. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Persis (Howe) Colman. Louise graduated from Framingham High School and earned a bachelor’s degree at Tufts University. In addition to raising a family, Louise was very involved in the community through her volunteer work.

Upon completion of her education, Louise married her college sweetheart, Richard A. Hallisey. Together they raised three children in Southborough. In addition to childrearing, Louise had other interests in her busy life, including the Southborough Garden Club, traveling, spending time with her family and especially her beloved beach house on Cape Cod. Her greatest joy was spending time with friends and family.

Louise had a commanding presence, gentle spirit and infectious sense of humor. Louise loved family gatherings with her large extended family.

Louise leaves behind her children, Allyn Hallisey and his wife Minty of Boulder, Colo. and Beth (Hallisey) Randall and her husband Jeff of Cary, N.C.; and her son-in-law, Kevin Krivanec of Southborough. Louise also leaves behind her brother, William Colman and his wife Bonnie Colman of Mattapoisett; her grandchildren, Grayson, Paige, and Mackenzie Randall, Colin and Seth Krivanec, and Abigail and Kylie Hallisey. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan (Hallisey) Krivanec.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, from 10-11 a.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. (Route 30), Southborough. A funeral home service will follow at 11:15 a.m. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Marlborough.
