Karen J. MinerGrafton – Karen J. (Swenson) (Davio) Miner, 81, went home to the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester following a sudden illness.

She was born Jan. 22, 1936 in Worcester, daughter of the late Henry Swenson and Annie (Moore). She was predeceased by her son, Chucky Davio.

Karen leaves behind her children, Denise Brooks, Kim Merchant – Smith (Davio), Lisa (Davio) McGriff and her husband Stan, Michael Miner and his wife Karen, and Laurie Harrington, and a lifetime family friend, Steve (Weevie) Anderson, along with 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Karen will be remembered most for her generous heart as she devoted most of her life to giving her time and treasure to others, and also for her hard-working nature and her steadfast love of Jesus that sustained her throughout her life.

All are welcome to gather with Karen’s family Tuesday, Dec. 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton, followed by a celebration of her life at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Grafton.
