Shrewsbury – Oh, the weather outside was frightful, but on Dec. 23, inside the First Congregational Church it was nice and warm for Caroling on the Common.  Church leaders made the decision to open the doors of their fellowship hall to the community after a day of freezing rain, sleet and ice for their Annual Caroling on the Common which is ordinarily held on the Town Common.  Hot chocolate was served and songs of the holiday season, accompanied by the Worcester Brass Consort,  were sung by approximately 75 attendees who didn’t let a little bit of inclement weather dampen their spirits, in true New England fashion.
