Railers HC Foundation to donate over $40,000 during holiday seasonWorcester – The Worcester Railers Hockey Club and Railers President Michael G. Myers recently announced that the Worcester Railers HC Foundation planned to donate over $40,000 this holiday season to an assortment of local community organizations.

The club announced the following donations:

  • Rainbow Child Development Center of Worcester – $5,000
  • The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester – $5,000
  • The Friendly House – $5,000
  • Nativity School of Worcester – $5,000
  • Veterans Inc. – $2,500
  • St. John’s Food Pantry – $2,500

In addition, the Railers HC Foundation pledged $10,000 to the 79th annual Worcester Telegram and Gazette Santa Fund and $7,500 to the Worcester Common Oval Skating Rink.

The Worcester Railers HC Foundation was established to support the youth and families in the greater Worcester community and throughout Central Massachusetts. The Railers HC Foundation aims to provide access to sports and art programs throughout the region and is eager to team up with other community based organizations.
