Louise CardinaleMarlborough – Louise L. “Meme” (Corricelli) Cardinale, 75, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas “Nick” Cardinale, to whom she was married for 57 wonderful years.

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Guido and Mary (Souza) Corricelli. She lived in Marlborough for the past 19 years after living in Hudson for the previous 35.

Along with raising her children, Louise worked as a book keeper for the Steere Contracting Corp. in Hudson for 50 years. She also served as treasurer for the Nighthawks Women’s Hockey Association and SSWHL for many years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Paul Cardinale of Las Vegas, Nev. and his wife Diane, and daughter Tina Beauchemin of Marlborough and her husband Ron. She was a loving “Meme” to grandchildren Jarrod and Trevor Beauchemin, whom she cherished, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Corricelli, who passed away in 2016.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 6 at the Hudson Portuguese Club, 13 Port St., Hudson. Gathering hours start at 1 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 2 p.m., followed by a luncheon and time to visit with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louise’s memory may be sent to MetroWest Hospice, 200 Nickerson Rd., Suite 110, Marlborough, MA  01752 as tribute to the amazing care she received.
