Anne S. HarpinMarlborough – Anne S. (Boule) Harpin, 72, of Marlborough, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017.

Born in Marlborough and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Shirley M. (McGuire)Boule. Anne was the wife of Vincent DePaul “Paul” Harpin, to whom she had been happily married since Nov. 11, 1965.

Anne was a graduate of Hudson Catholic High School, Hudson. She had been an active member of the former St. Mary’s Parish, serving on many parish committees and as President of Our Lady of the Assumption Guild for many years. A homemaker, she was devoted to her large family and nothing gave her more pride and happiness than caring for them.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Michael and his domestic partner Shari McCarthy of Woodstock, Conn., Daniel and his wife Lynne of Northbridge, Timothy and his wife Monique of Maynard, Don and his husband JP Scioville of West Roxbury, and her daughter, Joanne and her husband Michael Manganaro of Maynard.

Anne was also a proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, Evan, Emma, Justin, Alexis, Kaila, Tim Jr., Paul, Rachelle, Samantha, Andre, Molly, Vinny and Sophia. She is also survived by her sister, Paula Lohler of Oxford, and her brother, Ron Boule and his longtime companion Mary Croteau of Hampton, N.H. She was the sister of the late James Boule, who died in 2004 and Richard Boule who died in 2017.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, from 4-7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m., at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main St. (Route 20), Northborough. Private burial will be held at a later date.
