Marlborough – Lois Morelli, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 after a short period of failing health. She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anita (Silvestri) Morelli, and lived here all of her life.
Ms. Morelli was a teacher in the Northborough public schools for many years and was a member of the Massachusetts Teacher Association. She was also member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough.
She is survived by a sister, Pearl Morelli of Marlborough, and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday morning from 11 a.m. to 12:0 p.m. in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough.
