Marlborough – Russell L. “Rusty” Jusseaume, 93, of Marlborough, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.

Born and raised in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Louis and Florence (Blanchette) Jusseaume and the husband of Helen (Boudreau) Jusseaume, whom he married in 1947.

He attended Marlborough High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he served with Company C 554th Signal A W Battalion as a radar operator. He was employed for many years as an inspector for Mass Electric. He was a member of the DAV and a former member of the Marlborough Fish and Game.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Gary Jusseaume of Marlborough and Kevin Jusseaume and his wife Lancie of West Boylston; his daughter, Janice Petkauskos and her husband Victor of S. Yarmouth; his brother, Robert Jusseaume and his wife Malcomene of Marlborough; and his sister, June Groleau of Oxford, as well as his grand-children, Peter, Brandon, Lauren, Chad and Eric; his great-grandchildren, Roland and Aubrey; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Linda Kaiser and the brother of the late Earl, Wilfred and Roger Jusseaume.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, from 4-7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beach Street, Marlborough.
