Shrewsbury – Frances (Diterlizzi) Guhman passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, surrounded by her friends and family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Her predeceased parents were Leo and Julia Diterlizzi of Shrewsbury.
She is survived by her son, Gary M. Guhman of Orlando, Fla.; ex-husband Gary E. Guhman of Douglas; brother Danny Diterlizzi of Shrewsbury; sister in-law Nancy Diterlizzi, also of Shrewsbury; and niece Lisa Fracalosi of Worcester.
Franny graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1960 and also graduated from Worcester State College.
Franny was a controller in the automotive industry her entire career, and had recently worked at Hyannis Honda for the last 15 years. She lived in Falmouth Massachusetts during that time, and enjoyed her life on Cape Cod.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, Jan. 6, from 1-4 p.m., in the Chiampa Funeral Home, ~Sumner House~ 5 Church Rd., Shrewsbury. Burial will be private at a later date.
