Leda A. CofeliceHudson – Leda A. (Simard) Cofelice, 91, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Marlborough Hospital after a period of declining health, with her family by her side.

Leda was born and raised in Marlborough, a daughter of the late Leo and Ora (Gravel) Simard. After high school, she married the love of her life, Rocco F. Cofelice. Together they settled in Hudson and were married for 40 years, where she still currently resided. Leda worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Digital in Maynard, for many years until her retirement.

Leda was an avid card player and she especially enjoyed playing cribbage at the Hudson Senior Center with all her beloved friends. She also loved flowers and creating her many arts and crafts projects, which was a passion of hers. Most of all, she adored her family and loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Leda is survived by her four daughters, Marlene M. Perry and her husband Ralph of Hudson, Doreen A. Scofield of Hudson, Colleen F. Luond and her husband Dennis of California, and Janeen R. Calvao and her husband Steve of Hudson; her brother, Leo Simard Jr.; five grandchildren, Robby, Jason, Carissa, Joey and Lance; and six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe, Jenna, Trevor, Matthew and Emerson. In addition to her parents, Leda was predeceased by her husband, Rocco F. Cofelice; her brother, Renee Simard; and her son-in-law, Carlton “Skip” Scofield.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, Jan. 7, from 3-6 p.m., at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 8, at 9 a.m., at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, followed by interment at Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson.
