Shrewsbury – The Board of Selectmen is seeking a qualified individual interested in serving on the Shrewsbury Development Corporation for a five year term to expire January 31, 2022. Interested parties must have a background and knowledge in the areas of Architecture and Planning.
The Shrewsbury Development Corporation consists of seven persons appointed for staggered terms. The Corporation was established via Home Rule under Chapter 493 of the Acts of 2002. The primary focus of the Corporation is the development of a 60 acre parcel known as Centech Park North, the former Allen Property.
The Board meets 8-12 times throughout the year in addition to special meetings depending on the development initiatives under review.
