Northborough – Arthur A. Alexander, 69, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Westborough after a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Debra (Shuman) Alexander.
He was the loving father of Daniel Alexander and Shawn Alexander, both of Natick, and Hilary Alexander of Sturbridge; loving brother of Billy Alexander of Natick; and his former wife, Susan Alexander of Florida.
Born and raised in Natick, he was the son of Thomas and Emaline (Zecko) Alexander. Arthur served in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy Seabees from 1968-69.
A man of many trades, he owned his own landscape company, sold RVs, worked at Suburban Welders, and locally at the former Express It With Flowers in Northborough.
He loved the state of Maine, woodworking, feeding the birds and constructing birdhouses. He and Debbie enjoyed vacationing in Aruba for over 20 years.
Arthur was a member of DTMA.
His funeral was held Jan. 8 at Hays Funeral Home of Northborough, followed by burial with military honors at Howard Street Cemetery.
