Hudson – Carlos A. Oliveira, 81, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife, Natalia.
Carlos was born in Portugal and moved to Hudson in 1971 where he raised his family. He was a machine operator for Independent Cable for many years before his retirement. Carlos was a devout Catholic and was most faithful to Senhora da Fatima, Our Lady of Fatima. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carlos is survived by his two children, Ana Borges and her husband Joe of Leominster and Mark Oliveira and his wife Liz of Hudson. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jeff Borges and his wife Emma, Chris Borges and his wife Alexis, and Tyler and Dylan Oliveira. He also leaves three great-grandchildren, Sofia, Geovanni, and Bella Borges.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a period of calling hours Thursday, Jan. 11, from 4-7 p.m., at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the following day, Friday, January 12, at 9 a.m., at St. Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, followed by a procession to St. Michael Cemetery in Hudson for interment.
